Experience the local culture
It’s important that you have some knowledge and understanding of the culture and customs before arriving in your study country so that you can settle easily and do not feel the pressure of the sudden transition. We provide information, guidance, referrals and resources to enhance your transition to, and progress through, the University. This is probably your only chance where you are going to be surrounded by people from different parts of the world.

It is a general phenomenon of having to adjust to a culture different from your own. It is real and plays a pivotal role in adjusting to your study country. We will help you in recognising culture shock and share some techniques that will enable you to cope and climate.

Banking and Foreign Exchange One of the important things on your to-do list when you arrive in your study destination is to set-up a bank account to ensure that you have easy access to the money to pay for your accommodation, tuition fees and living expenses and also make it easy for your employer to deposit pay into your account if you choose to work.
